We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join a well-established and growing facilities management provider. This is a mobile role covering London and the South East, offering a competitive salary and a great Monday–Friday work-life balance.
The Role
As a Mobile Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. The role focuses on mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and HVAC systems
- Respond to reactive maintenance and breakdowns across multiple sites
- Service and maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and associated plant
- Fault find and repair mechanical and HVAC equipment
- Support minor installations and small works where required
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
- Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records
- Provide a professional, client-facing service on site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical or HVAC Engineer within commercial maintenance
- Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working in a mobile role desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
