An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious, high-end residential development in Knightsbridge.
This is a highly client-facing role within a luxury environment, requiring a professional, polished and service-driven individual who takes pride in both their appearance and the quality of their work. Due to site standards and PPE requirements, the successful candidate must be clean shaven.
This role would particularly suit someone with experience working in hospitality, luxury residential, or high-end commercial environments, where customer service standards are paramount.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering first-class building maintenance services across the development, ensuring residents receive a discreet, efficient and high-quality service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks
- Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests
- Basic electrical works (lamp changes, socket replacements, minor fault finding, etc.)
- Basic mechanical maintenance
- General plumbing works (taps, toilets, minor leaks)
- Painting and decorating touch-ups
- Handyman duties and general building fabric maintenance
- Assisting and overseeing specialist contractors when required
- Maintaining accurate job records and reports
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures
- Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in building maintenance within residential, hospitality or high-end commercial environments
- Strong all-round knowledge of electrical, mechanical and general building maintenance
- Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Immaculate presentation and professional manner
- Client-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-led approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be clean shaven in line with site requirements
