Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer – £55,000 Salary: £55,000 Hours: Monday to Friday Benefits: Company Van + Fuel Card + Door-to-Door Travel Position: Permanent, Mobile The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer to join a growing and established building services company. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Gas Safe registered engineer who also has strong experience in mechanical installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out commercial gas and mechanical works across a variety of commercial sites, with a strong focus on quality installations, technical expertise and customer service. You'll receive a £55,000 salary, company van, fuel card and paid door-to-door travel. Key Responsibilities * Carry out commercial gas and mechanical installation works * Install, maintain and repair commercial boilers, heating systems and mechanical plant * Work on pumps, valves, pipework and associated equipment * Carry out mechanical plant room installations and upgrades * Diagnose faults and complete repairs where required * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Ensure all commercial gas works comply with current regulations * Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams What We're Looking For * Commercial Gas Safe registration – essential * Valid commercial gas qualifications (COCN1 or equivalent) – essential * Strong mechanical installation experience – essential * Experience working on commercial boilers, heating systems and plant rooms * Good knowledge of pipework, pumps, valves and associated mechanical equipment * Strong technical and fault-finding skills * Ability to work independently and manage your workload * Full UK driving licence * Positive attitude and professional approach What's on Offer? * £55,000 basic salary * Paid door-to-door travel * Company van + fuel card * Monday to Friday * Permanent position * Varied commercial installation projects * Established and growing engineering business * Long-term career development opportunities If you're a Commercial Gas Safe registered Engineer with strong mechanical installation experience looking for a well-paid mobile position with an excellent package, we'd be keen to hear from you
