The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team in a foot mobile role. This position is ideal for an engineer who lives in Enfield or the surrounding area, as you'll spend 2–3 days per week based at a busy shopping centre in Enfield, with the remaining days covering a portfolio of commercial properties across Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied role, combining the consistency of a primary site with exposure to multiple prestigious commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults on lighting, power, emergency lighting, and electrical distribution systems
  • Support the maintenance of mechanical and building services equipment where required
  • Carry out routine plant room inspections and ensure equipment is operating efficiently
  • Complete maintenance reports and update CAFM systems accurately
  • Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and contractors
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Identify opportunities for remedial works and plant improvements

About You

  • Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Experience working within commercial building maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills
  • Good understanding of building services and plant room environments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently across multiple sites
  • Ideally based in or around Enfield
