We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading maintenance team at a high-profile banking site in Aldgate, London. This is a great opportunity to work within a professional, corporate and critical environment, offering a stable days-only shift pattern and long-term career prospects.
The role involves the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all electrical systems on site. Working as part of a shift team in a live banking environment, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure the building remains fully operational at all times.
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 6:00am - 6:00pm (days only)
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and repairing electrical systems
- Maintenance of LV systems, lighting, power distribution and emergency lighting
- Assisting with mechanical plant when required
- Responding to breakdowns and building emergencies
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety procedures
- Liaising with site teams, clients and subcontractors
