Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Fault find and repair lighting, power, emergency lighting, and electrical distribution systems.
- Support the maintenance of mechanical building services and associated plant where required.
- Conduct routine plant room inspections and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
- Complete maintenance records and update CAFM systems accurately.
- Liaise with contractors and the wider engineering team to ensure works are completed to a high standard.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
- Identify opportunities for remedial works and continuous improvements.
About You
- Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Previous experience within commercial building maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of building services systems and plant.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider team.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to build strong working relationships.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
