The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties.
We're open to engineers from either an Electrical or Mechanical background, provided you have good commercial building maintenance experience and are comfortable working independently across multiple sites.
You'll receive a Β£45,000 salary, company van and fuel card, alongside ongoing training and opportunities to develop your career.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Attend breakdowns and diagnose building services faults
Maintain electrical and/or mechanical plant depending on your discipline
Carry out general M&E maintenance across commercial properties
Complete routine plant room inspections
Identify defects and recommend remedial works
Liaise with clients, building managers and specialist contractors
Complete maintenance records and update CAFM systems
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
Manage your workload and travel efficiently between sites
What We're Looking For Qualified in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline β City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent
Previous commercial building maintenance experience
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good general understanding of M&E building services
Professional and confident in a client-facing environment
Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
Full UK driving licence
For electrically biased candidates, 18th Edition would be highly desirable.
