A leading building services and facilities maintenance company is seeking an experienced Pump Engineer to join their mobile engineering team, covering London and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a skilled engineer with strong experience in pump maintenance, servicing, and repair within commercial building environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of pumps and associated equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults on booster sets, sump pumps, pressurisation units, and circulation pumps
  • Conduct servicing, installation, and replacement of mechanical pump components
  • Inspect and maintain plant rooms and associated mechanical systems
  • Work within commercial properties ensuring all systems run efficiently and reliably
  • Complete all required paperwork, service reports, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company and site procedures
  • Liaise with clients and site teams professionally to ensure excellent service delivery

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience working as a Pump Engineer within building services or facilities management essential
  • Sound mechanical knowledge including pipework, valves, and water systems
  • Familiarity with booster sets, pressurisation units, and sump pumps
  • Mechanical or plumbing qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload
