The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a professional on-site engineering team at a prestigious commercial property in West London. This is a static-site position offering excellent stability, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work within a modern, high-profile building. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical building services.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Maintain and fault-find on mechanical plant and equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and associated HVAC systems
- Conduct plant room inspections and ensure all equipment is operating efficiently
- Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Support compliance activities and ensure all maintenance records are accurately completed
- Liaise with subcontractors and specialist service providers when required
- Work closely with the wider engineering team to deliver a first-class maintenance service
About You
- Qualified in a mechanical discipline (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Experience working within commercial building maintenance environments
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Professional and client-focused approach
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
