We are seeking an experienced Project Electrician to work across commercial projects in high-profile, occupied buildings. The role involves installing, maintaining, and fault-finding on electrical systems, including lighting and small power, while ensuring safety standards and regulations are met. This position is well-suited to a technically skilled, client-facing electrician with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to deliver high standards of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Carry out site surveys independently or with clients to assess requirements.
- Provide professional assessments and feedback to project managers and clients.
- Work with lighting control systems (e.g., Dali, Exor).
- Ensure compliance with IEE regulations, NICEIC standards, and inspection/testing requirements.
- Deliver high-quality work to encourage repeat business.
Requirements
- Recognised electrical qualifications: City & Guilds 2360/2382 and 18th Edition.
- Testing & Inspection qualification (C&G 2391 desirable).
- CSCS Card.
- Completed electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in electrical installations, ideally within commercial and residential environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong customer service and client-facing skills.
