Job Description Multi-Skilled Technician – Mechanical Bias\n Location: Brighton / Burgess Hill \n Salary: £43,700 \n Hours: Monday to Friday – Early, Day & Late Shifts \n Call Out: 1 in 6 \n Position: Permanent The Role \n We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Technician with a mechanical bias to join the engineering team supporting a large, modern commercial environment in Brighton, with occasional travel to a site in Burgess Hill. \n This is ideal for a mechanically qualified engineer with strong HVAC and building services experience, who also has a basic understanding of electrical systems. Key Responsibilities \n \n \n Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance \n \n Maintain and fault-find on AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, pumps and motors \n \n Work on heating, hot water, chillers and cooling systems \n \n Carry out general mechanical repairs and maintenance \n \n Monitor plant performance and BMS systems \n \n Respond to breakdowns and building maintenance issues \n \n Complete maintenance records through the CAFM system \n \n Support specialist contractors when required \n \n Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard \n What We're Looking For \n \n \n NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical, HVAC or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent \n \n Strong commercial building maintenance experience \n \n Good HVAC and mechanical fault-finding skills \n \n Knowledge of pumps, motors, heating and cooling systems \n \n Basic electrical knowledge \n \n BMS experience would be advantageous \n \n Full UK driving licence \n \n Professional and proactive approach \n What's on Offer? \n \n \n £43,700 salary \n \n Monday to Friday \n \n Rotating 07:00–16:00 / 08:00–17:00 / 12:00–21:00 shifts \n \n 1-in-6 call-out rota \n \n Additional out-of-hours earning potential \n \n Modern commercial environment \n \n Ongoing technical training and career development \n \n If you're a Mechanical / Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a stable £43.7k opportunity in the Brighton area, we'd be keen to hear from you. \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
