Engineering Supervisor – £55,000 Location: Brighton Salary: £55,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm Position: Permanent Call Out: 1 in 6 The Role We're looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor / Lead Engineer to join an established engineering team at a critical commercial site in Brighton. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee the day-to-day engineering operation, coordinate workloads and ensure planned and reactive maintenance is delivered safely and efficiently. It's an excellent opportunity for a strong electrical engineer who has progressed into a Lead Engineer or Supervisory position but still enjoys being technically involved. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the on-site engineering team Manage PPM and reactive maintenance workloads Support engineers with technical issues and fault finding Monitor critical mechanical and electrical plant Oversee contractors and ensure works are completed safely Manage permits and safe systems of work Ensure outstanding maintenance tasks are completed on time Support the training and development of engineers Liaise with clients regarding technical issues and ongoing works Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability and site performance What We're Looking For City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification 18th Edition Strong commercial or critical building maintenance experience Previous Lead Engineer, Shift Manager or Supervisory experience Good knowledge of M&E building services Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Confident managing engineers, contractors and client relationships Full UK driving licence Willingness to participate in a 1-in-6 call-out rota What's on Offer? £55,000 salary Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm Permanent position 1-in-6 call-out with additional payments and overtime High-profile critical envir TPBN1_UKTJ
