Due to ongoing growth within a well performing contract, an established FM provider are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a site based in the Marylebone area. The relationship with this client started with a portfolio of 3 buildings and 6 team members. Since then, the account has grown to over 60 buildings and a headcount of 45 reflecting the strong and growing relationship with the managing agent and client. You will have the chance to grow within the contract with ample opportunities for development available.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), as well as reactive and breakdown repairs, on all mechanical and electrical systems within the site.
- Demonstrate knowledge of UPS, generators, PDUs, power distribution, and general maintenance tasks.
- Use graphical information and alarm data to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
- Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are kept pertaining to Health & Safety, Building Compliance and Quality Assurance.
- Ensure that sub-contractors perform to meet the requirement of the contract.
- Administer sub-contractor work approvals and safe operation while repair or service is carried out on site.
- Overview the buildings environmental conditions using the BMS System and utilise same to maintain acceptable internal conditions.
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, reviewed and utilised for all tasks (PPMs and reactive) carried out to ensure safe working practices.
