An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Engineer to join a facilities management team working within a high-profile banking environment in London Bridge. This is a critical, site-based role operating on a continental shift pattern, supporting the safe and continuous operation of building services.
The Role
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building services.
- Monitor, operate, and respond to faults on critical plant and systems.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and site procedures.
- Complete shift handovers, logbooks, and maintenance documentation.
- Liaise with supervisors, contractors, and client representatives.
- Escort and oversee specialist subcontractors where required.
What We're Looking For
- Electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled engineering background.
- Experience working in a critical or high-profile environment (banking, data centre, or similar preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work days and nights on a continental shift pattern.
