We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a high-profile commercial site in Moorgate. Working on a continental shift pattern, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems, ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Maintain and fault-find on electrical systems and associated building services plant
  • Support the operation of HVAC, lighting, emergency systems, and power distribution equipment
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and technical faults
  • Complete maintenance records, logbooks, and shift handovers accurately
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
  • Liaise with subcontractors, site teams, and management professionally

About You

  • Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Experience working within commercial building maintenance or critical environments
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
  • Knowledge of electrical building services systems
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach
  • Able to work effectively within a shift environment
