We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious client-facing site in Blackfriars, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional engineer looking for a stable Monday to Friday role within a high-profile commercial environment.
The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards. This is a client-facing position, requiring strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on site systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
- Support site operations and liaise directly with the client and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Assist with small works, upgrades, and improvement projects
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrically (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable
- Experience in commercial building maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Professional, client-facing attitude with excellent communication skills
