Sometimes, when we recruit roles, we recruit what we categorise as a ‘job’ – a role where you do the ‘tasks’ often outlined on a job description. And sometimes we recruit opportunities; these are roles that if we’re totally honest we don’t really know how it’s going to evolve. We can talk about the opportunity we have in front of us today, but as for the future – quite frankly…who knows? For some people, that’s a bit daunting, but for others, it’s exciting. And if you’re right for this role, you’ll be firmly in the excited camp.Day to day, you’ll support the Principal, a charming, communicative individual with business interests across social media, journalism, television, health and writing based on their home in South West London. Whilst the role is a hybrid (2/3 days from home, 2/3 days from their house – depending on the week and workload), it would be beneficial if you lived near Southwest London for those days when you may be needed. The role is a true ‘Assistant’—the Principal is a busy person juggling multiple commitments, including businesses, deadlines, priorities, and a young family—you’ll work with them to ease the pressure.Health and wellness are underlying themes in their lives, so if you have a general disposition to these things, you’ll be in a strong place. To be considered, you must have some relevant PA experience. This is not a role that would suit someone who has worked within an overly corporate role looking for a transition. They’ll want someone to hit the ground running and become an integral part of their team, working alongside house staff, a dedicated Social Media Manager, and the wider team of Agents (and their team based in the Agency). We are looking for someone to start in early January, and the interview process must be completed by the 17th of December.
