Superb opportunity to join a leading client within the aviation industry. We are looking for a Planning & Analytics SME (Developer) to play a key role in supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams and to deliver high-quality planning solutions across the organisation. The contract is initially for 6-months outside IR35. The business follows a hybrid work pattern with a requirement to be in the office 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with FP&A stakeholders to understand, prioritise, and translate their planning and analytics needs into actionable development requirements.
- Assess and validate changes to existing planning models and solutions, working cross-functionally to determine business impact and communicating updates effectively.
- Act as an escalation point for delivery-related issues, helping to remove blockers and ensure successful project progression.
- Define and manage requirements, maintaining accurate status updates and documentation within the ticket management system.
- Develop solutions within TM1, following agreed development standards, release processes, and best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing of new and updated solutions, supporting refinement and adjustments to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Produce clear documentation for all solutions, ensuring smooth handover into BAU support teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in TM1 development (Planning Analytics).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and drive resolution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with FP&A or financial planning teams highly desirable.
