We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team, delivering advanced support and solutions across enterprise and data centre environments. Key Responsibilities

Enterprise & Data Centre Support – Deliver advanced network support across large-scale enterprise and data centre environments, managing multi-vendor solutions (Juniper, Cisco ASA, Fortinet FortiGate, Aruba).
*
Complex Network Operations – Implement, configure, and troubleshoot advanced network setups, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.
*
Core MPLS & ISP Infrastructure – Operate and maintain core MPLS and ISP backbone systems, including BGP peering and collaboration with upstream providers.
*
Monitoring & Incident Response – Monitor alerts, enhance visibility via internal/customer-facing monitoring tools, and proactively address performance issues.
*
Ticket & Workflow Management – Own incident resolution from start to finish, prioritising efficiently and maintaining clear, professional client communications.
*
Documentation & Standards – Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records in line with company standards.
*
Project Delivery – Act as a technical lead for migrations, rollouts, and major infrastructure upgrades.
*
Escalations & On-Call – Handle high-priority incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and perform planned/emergency core network changes (including out-of-hours patching).

Virtual Environments – Deploy, configure, and integrate virtualised network environments to meet customer requirements.
*
Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis – Use tools like Wireshark and vendor-specific utilities to perform packet inspection and troubleshoot complex issues.
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience in enterprise and/or ISP network engineering roles.
*
Strong working knowledge of Juniper, Cisco ASA, Fortinet FortiGate, and Aruba network solutions.
*
Expertise in MPLS, BGP, and ISP backbone infrastructure.
*
Experience with network monitoring tools and proactive incident prevention.
*
Solid understanding of routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and wireless networking technologies.
*
Familiarity with virtualised networking environments and integration.
*
Proficiency with packet analysis tools (eg, Wireshark) for deep troubleshooting.
*
Strong documentation skills, including network diagrams and configuration records.
*
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
