We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our team and support the Remedial Manager in generating accurate and timely quotations for remedial works. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their estimating skills and gain in-depth knowledge of remedial engineering within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Working closely with the Remedial Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Assessing Work Reports: Review and interpret detailed work report sheets to fully understand the scope and nature of remedial works required. * Collaboration with Engineers: Liaise with onsite engineers and technical teams to clarify requirements related to materials, access constraints, and labour needs. * Material Sourcing & Pricing: Identify and source materials required for remedial works, obtaining accurate and competitive pricing from approved suppliers. * Quotation Preparation: Build comprehensive and precise quotations, incorporating labour, materials, and any other associated costs. * Client Communication: Issue quotations to clients in a professional and timely manner, ensuring clarity of scope and costs. * Quote Follow-Up: Actively follow up on issued quotations, prioritising urgent repairs and high-priority projects to maintain client satisfaction. * Pricing Library Management: Support the maintenance and regular updating of a materials pricing library to ensure consistent and reliable quoting across projects.
