Our client is experiencing a period of rapid, exciting growth – expanding their luxury cruise fleet and investing heavily in next-generation onboard technology. As part of this expansion, they are creating several new IT Service Manager positions to strengthen IT service delivery and support a growing global operation.
This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class cruise brand at a pivotal time, playing a key role in shaping how technology underpins the guest and crew experience across new and existing ships. You’ll work on a three-month rotational overseas assignment, leading IT operations onboard and driving continuous improvement as the company scales.

What You’ll Do
* Service Management & Delivery: Own IT service operations onboard, ensuring high availability, performance and seamless digital experiences for guests and crew across a growing fleet.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary IT contact for senior leadership, department heads and external vendors, aligning IT services with evolving business demands.
* IT Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Shape and execute IT service strategies that support expansion, minimise downtime and enable innovation as new ships and services come online.
* Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor onboard IT support staff, embedding a culture of excellence, continuous learning and proactive problem-solving.
* Incident & Problem Management: Manage incidents and problems using structured ITSM processes, ensuring quick, effective resolution and lessons learned across ships.
* Compliance & Security: Safeguard operations by ensuring adherence to maritime regulations, cybersecurity policies and data protection standards.
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in IT service management, IT operations or IT leadership
* ITIL certification (and ideally experience implementing ITIL best practice)
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
* Proven background managing IT support teams, vendors and service contracts
* Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure – servers, networks and EUC
* Experience in hospitality, cruise or travel is highly desirable
* Marine Training (STCW) or willingness to complete it before starting
