We are seeking a hands-on Hardware Support Engineer to join an enterprise client on an initial 3-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who enjoys diagnosing and resolving hardware, networking, and peripheral-related issues across complex technology environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Investigating and resolving hardware and software integration issues
- Diagnosing Windows PC hardware, driver, configuration, and peripheral faults
- Troubleshooting USB devices, serial connections, printers, routers, and network connectivity issues
- Reimaging, rebuilding, and configuring Windows-based systems
- Supporting lab setup, maintenance, testing, and fault reproduction activities
- Performing basic electrical and connectivity checks, including power and cabling diagnostics
- Creating troubleshooting documentation, test procedures, and operational guides
- Defining repeatable processes for repair, refurbishment, testing, and quality assurance
- Collaborating with software engineers, support teams, and third-party suppliers to identify root causes
Key skills and experience:
- Strong hardware and desktop support troubleshooting experience
