Hybrid working model with travel to Bedfordshire approximately one day per week.

Outside IR35 with potential for extension. We’re supporting a major enterprise organisation in Bedfordshire as they continue to expand and modernise their customer data and digital platforms landscape. As part of a large-scale transformation programme, they are looking for an experienced MarTech Architect to help shape and evolve their customer engagement, eCommerce, and data ecosystem. This role will sit within a high-profile data programme and requires someone who can operate at enterprise scale while working closely with engineering teams, product squads, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong architecture background combined with previous software development experience or significant experience partnering directly with development teams in agile environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver scalable MarTech and customer data architecture across enterprise platforms
  • Support the evolution of real-time customer engagement and event-driven architectures
  • Partner closely with engineering squads to guide technical delivery and architectural best practice
  • Drive integration strategy across customer, eCommerce, and data platforms
  • Align architecture with wider business, product, and transformation objectives

Key requirements:

  • Proven enterprise-level architecture experience within large, complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of MarTech, eCommerce, and customer data ecosystems
  • Experience with platforms such as Braze, mParticle, Databricks, and Confluent
  • Background in software engineering or strong experience working closely with development/squad teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
