Superb opportunity to join one of the world’s largest leisure travel companies, operating a global fleet of cruise ships that carry millions of guests each year. This is an initial 3-month contract (inside IR35) with a requirement to be on-site in the Southampton office 3-days per week.
We are looking for a Digital Content Executive to join the business and play a vital role in delivering against a prioritised content work-stream, ensuring all aspects of SEO, QA and customer-centric content are balanced to best represent the brand and the company products on the websites. You will work closely and collaboratively with the Digital Content Manager and the Senior Executive of eCommerce, liaising closely with the Brand & Product teams and the CRM and Campaigns teams to achieve a consistent representation of the brand to their guests and prospective guests.
Responsibilities:
- Support and source content requirements for merchandising campaigns for the brand.
- Support and source content requirements for product launches.
- Use Adobe Experience Manager to create new pages and manage existing content changes, helping to deliver a programme of content that brings cruising to life online, hand-holding new guests to book their first cruise, while keeping returning guests engaged in the brand.
- Work with the Development team to support the development roadmap of new functionality and improvements to user experience, spending time testing new functionality when required.
- Work with the Content Manager to highlight front-end and back-end changes to help support content work-stream, SEO and user experience.
- Support SEO requirements around new and existing content around individual markets where required.
- Support others across Digital team to ensure content is delivered accurately and on time.
- Self-manage time and prioritisation to achieve agreed run-rate of work.
- Communicate content requirements clearly with digital design and/or copywriters to deliver excellent results for both search engine robots and our guests.
- Manage internal customer expectations and work with stakeholders to build effective communication and networks, ensuring other parties are given appropriate notice and support to deliver to required timescales.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with a CMS to create web pages.
- Customer-focused in your approach to web page creation and content curation.
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Experience within eCommerce environment.
- Understanding of commercial & user experience targets.
Knowledge/ Experience – desirable:
- Knowledge of SEO concepts and best practice.
- Working across international websites.
- Working on mobile optimised sites.
- Working with JIRA and/or AEM.
- Travel industry experience.
- Experience of the over 50s market.
