About the Role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Project Manager to join a team specialising in fire protection and sprinkler installation projects across London. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction project delivery while studying towards the Association for Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ). As an apprentice, you will split your time between working onsite in London and attending university 1 day per week. You will gain exposure to all aspects of project management, from planning and procurement to delivery and completion, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Assist Project Managers in the delivery of sprinkler installation projects from initiation through to completion. * Support with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. * Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. * Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers. * Prepare project documentation including reports, risk registers, and health & safety records. * Ensure compliance with construction industry standards, building regulations, and company policies. * Learn and apply project management principles aligned with APM methodologies. * Shadow senior team members to gain a deeper understanding of contract management and site coordination. Requirements * Interest in construction and project management * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Willingness to work onsite in London 4 days per week. * Commitment to attend university 1 day per week as part of the apprenticeship programme. * Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) – A Levels or equivalent qualifications desirable. * Proactive attitude, eager to learn, and able to work as part of a team.
