Sales Manager - Nordics | Academic Publishing | London, Hybrid | £60,000–£65,000
You’ll own institutional sales across the Nordic market, managing the relationships, renewals, negotiations, and growth opportunities that keep key university, research, and library accounts moving forward. Your work will directly influence revenue retention and account growth across Read & Publish, subscription, and Open Access agreements.

What You’ll Do
- Manage institutional sales across the Nordic market
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, research organisations, and library consortia
- Manage Read & Publish and subscription renewals
- Grow accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and Open Access opportunities
- Develop account plans and commercial proposals using customer data
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and Open Access developments
- Attend consortium meetings, conferences, and customer events
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting through Salesforce
What You’ll Need
- Experience in academic or STM publishing
- Institutional sales or strategic account management experience
- Experience working with library consortia
- Understanding of Read & Publish and Open Access agreements
- Experience managing complex commercial negotiations and renewals
- CRM and pipeline management experience
- Nordic market experience
