Where will you work?

You will work in a company that manufactures customised contamination mats for important clients in the cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical, and medicinal environments with strict contamination standards and controls.

What will you do?

Role: Directly promote Dycem Contamination Control products and services, with a clear emphasis on supporting current distributors/agents as required by your manager and seeking new business opportunities. The initial focus will be on the food sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and create relationships and sales with distributors/end users through a programme of regular visits and follow-ups.
  • Achieve target call levels of 4 per day, 4 days a week, grouping activity to maximise performance and create qualitative results.
  • Provide excellent customer service for customer satisfaction, leading to repeat orders and recommendations.
  • Resolve routine problems faced by distributors and end users when necessary.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities.
  • Travel extensively within the designated territory, using your own car to conduct field sales calls and provide technical assistance. This will involve spending nights away from home.
  • Research the market and potential customers, staying informed about the cleanroom market.
  • Attend trade fairs, conduct presentations, and deliver seminars.
  • Report weekly on activities and ensure the CRM contact management system is updated with details of all visits and pending activities. It is essential to maintain a close relationship with internal support.
  • Meet regularly with the Sales Director to review strategy and progress, working together on the sales funnel and focused visit plan.
  • Attend quarterly meetings at the headquarters in Bristol to recap quarterly activity.

Who are we looking for?

  • University graduate (ideally in commercial training).
  • Advanced English.
  • Autonomy and eagerness to take initiative.
  • Commercial and negotiation skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Business Development (ideally in the energy sector).
