Assistant Editor, Part Time £27-30k Full Time Equivalent + Excellent Benefits Aldershot VR/10439 This is a wonderful opportunity to join a small team within a wider group in a responsible part time role. Working closely with the Editor and sales team, you will carry out a range of administrative, digital marketing and content creation activities In terms of hours, they can consider around 25-30 a week Your role will involve: * Creating and publishing articles, carrying out amendments to content and listings on the website * Sourcing and re-sizing artwork * Creating competitions, vouchers & events for advertisers, closing competitions, sending out winners’ emails and coordinating prizes * Keep website advertising up to date and refreshing on a monthly basis * Updating spreadsheets and creating a process to ensure listings don’t fall off site * Assisting with proofing of all e-newsletters/campaigns and checking all external links * Helping to develop marketing plans and creating email marketing campaigns * SEO and creation of Google Ads campaigns and carrying out weekly reports * Media pack creation and co-ordination of large-scale seasonal marketing projects * Regular social media posts across Facebook, Instagram & Twitter (X) You will be the ideal candidate due to your: * Solid experience in a similar role * Skills within CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics, Dotdigital & Constant Contact) * Experience of WordPress or similar * Use Paint Shop Pro/Canva to size images accordingly, once sourced * Ability to write basic English copy * Experience on Dotdigital, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Mail Munch, Constant Contact, Meta Ads & Canva is preferred This is a wonderful chance to join a supportive, friendly and highly successful business.
