This is an exciting, newly created role working for a highly successful consumer focussed business at the top of their game. They need to find a switched-on Content Creator to film both short form social content as well as longer form, more considered content to help bring their brand to life.
This position is all about creating strong, engaging content for social media and wider marketing, from customer shoots and factory moments to product content, event coverage and reactive ideas that jump on what’s happening right now.
Your role will involve:
- Creating both short-form social content and longer-form video content for campaigns, products, customers and brand storytelling
- Visiting customers to capture products in action
- Organising and planning shoots with customers and external contacts
- Creating reactive content around trends, timely moments and social opportunities
- Spotting content opportunities around the factory, team, products and day-to-day business
- Planning ahead and producing content around seasonal and calendar moments
- Supporting content creation around campaigns, launches, promotions and product releases
- Capturing content at trade shows, events and brand activations
- Shooting on both mobile and camera depending on the project
- Working closely with the Social Media Executive to make sure content is planned, aligned and delivered against upcoming needs
- Working with the wider marketing team to help keep the content pipeline full and moving
You will be the ideal candidate due to your:
- Previous experience in a similar content, social or creative role
- Creativity, proactivity, and mind full of ideas
- Strong eye for what looks good and what works on social
- Confidence in filming and editing content for different platforms and formats
- Ability to create both short-form social edits and longer-form video pieces
- Ability to plan and organise shoots from start to finish
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing and what makes people keep watching
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong editing skills and experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar (especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop)
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
