The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add qualified Electricians to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.
You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawings on installation projects.
To be successful, we would like you to have:
- A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition).
- Experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential.
- Experience with maintenance programmes.
- Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer.
- Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.
Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM. This is a great opportunity to join a leading print manufacturer in a key electrical engineering role, working on large scale machinery in a time-sensitive manufacturing environment.
Annualised Average 42 hour working week, days and nights, 12 hour shifts.
