We’re working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add qualified Electricians to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams. Shift Electrician Day Shift – Monday-Wednesday days for 4 weeks, then rotate to Thursday-Saturday days for 4 weeks and every other Sunday day shift on rotation 6.00am-18.00pm with a 1 hour paid break Salary – £35,525 per annum Location: Nr St Austell You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including Fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawing on installation projects. To be successful, we would like you to have: * A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition) or minimum Level 3 NVQ. * Have experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing environment. * Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential. * Experience with maintenance programmes. * Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer. * Have good communication, organisational and team work skills. * Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination. * Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
