We’re working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Shift Maintenance Electrician to join its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams. Shift Electrician 36 or 48 hour working week Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Thursday Days/Nights plus overtime You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including Fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawing on installation projects. To be successful, we would like you to have: * A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition). * Have experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical or Multi skilled Engineer in a Manufacturing environment. * Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential. * Experience with maintenance programmes. * Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer. * Have good communication, organisational and team work skills. * Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination. Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
