We are working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Shift Maintenance Electrician to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.

Average 42 hour working week (Mon, Tues, Weds then Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs)

12 hour Shifts, Nights plus overtime

Salary £50-£55,000 per annum

You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including:

  • Fault diagnosis and repair
  • Continuous improvement project/task work
  • Ordering of spares
  • Reviewing/checking designs and drawing on installation projects

To be successful, we would like you to have:

  • A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition)
  • Experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing, Industrial or Automation environment
  • Experience in the print, packaging or related industries would be nice but is not essential
  • Experience with maintenance programmes
  • Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer
  • Good communication, organisational and team work skills
  • Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination

Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM. This is a great opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in a key electrical engineering role.
