We are working with a large pan-European manufacturing business which operates 7 days a week that is actively seeking to add an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician to join its site Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.
Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias preferred) 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday based on Double Day shift 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm. Participation in weekend On Call Rota (approx 1 in 5).
Location: nr Chippenham, Wiltshire
Salary: Circa 40,000 (plus on 3800 annual on call allowance)
The position's responsibilities are:
- Reactive Maintenance on automated production machinery
- Pre-planned Maintenance (PPM) - Input to and carry out preventive maintenance routines
- Mechanical fault finding
- Electrical fault finding with and without diagrams (three phase and control systems)
- Fault finding and repair on hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- Small installation projects
- Continuous Improvement to maintain optimal machine efficiency
- To keep clean any areas in which you are working, including transit areas to and from the workshop, the workshop and stores
- Support the Operations team in achieving targets
- Complying to the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Contributing to cost effective technical solutions
- Deliver to the operational expectations
- Be part of a weekend call-out rota
