Hourly Rate - £17.93/hour (Average 40 hours per week, £37,294.40 per annum), plus overtime

Location - Wiltshire/Hampshire

We are working with a large pan-European manufacturing business which operates 7 days a week that is actively seeking an experienced Litho Printer to join one of its site Manufacturing teams on a contract (potentially to permanent).

You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a B1 2 colour perfecting printing press to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and safely.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate litho sheetfed printing press
  • To read and interpret job instructions specifications
  • To prepare plates, inks, and paper for print production
  • To monitor print quality, colour consistency, and registration through production
  • Make adjustments throughout to ensure output meets quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and maintain clean press equipment and working area
  • To troubleshoot mechanical or print issues quickly in order to minimise downtime
  • Ensure adherence to company health & safety procedures
  • To maintain accurate production records and logs

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience as a 2 colour or multicolour Litho Print Operator (typically 3+ years), whilst experience of Heidelberg equipment is an advantage, it is not a pre-requisite.
  • Good technical knowledge of lithographic/offset printing processes
  • Solid understanding of colour matching and print quality control
  • Capable mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Likely to have some basic maintenance/engineering skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is critical for the role
  • Attention to detail and understanding of ISO quality standards
  • Preparedness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends if required
