Hourly Rate - £17.93/hour (Average 40 hours per week, £37,294.40 per annum), plus overtime
Location - Wiltshire/Hampshire
We’re working with a large pan-European manufacturing business which operates 7 days a week that is actively seeking an experienced Litho Printer to join one of its site Manufacturing teams on a contract (potentially to permanent).
You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a B1 2 colour perfecting printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and safely.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate litho sheetfed printing press
- Read and interpret job instructions specifications
- Prepare plates, inks, and paper for print production
- Monitor print quality, colour consistency, and registration through production
- Make adjustments throughout to ensure output meets quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and maintain clean press equipment and working area
- Troubleshoot mechanical or print issues quickly in order to minimise downtime
- Ensure adherence to company health & safety procedures
- Maintain accurate production records and logs
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a 2 colour or multicolour Litho Print Operator (typically 3+ years); experience of Heidelberg equipment is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
- Good technical knowledge of lithographic/offset printing processes
- Solid understanding of colour matching and print quality control
- Capable mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; likely to have some basic maintenance/engineering skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is critical for the role
- Attention to detail and understanding of ISO quality standards
- Preparedness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends if required
