Introduction:
My client is urgently seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a global Programme on a long-term contract assignment. The successful Platform Engineer will join the team to help shape secure, scalable, and flexible public cloud infrastructure.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Design reference architectures & apps across cloud providers (e.g., web, batch, message-driven)
- Build Terraform modules/providers in Go
- Automate infrastructure provisioning & teardown (in minutes)
- Create ephemeral testing environments
- Drive cost transparency for teams
- Mentor engineers & advocate for developer experience
Skills & Experience:
- 6–9 years’ experience in software/cloud engineering
- Expertise in Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Git
