Introduction:

My client is urgently seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a global Programme on a long-term contract assignment. The successful Platform Engineer will join the team to help shape secure, scalable, and flexible public cloud infrastructure.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Design reference architectures & apps across cloud providers (e.g., web, batch, message-driven)
  • Build Terraform modules/providers in Go
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning & teardown (in minutes)
  • Create ephemeral testing environments
  • Drive cost transparency for teams
  • Mentor engineers & advocate for developer experience

Skills & Experience:

  • 6–9 years’ experience in software/cloud engineering
  • Expertise in Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Git
  • Deep DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, cloud infra)
  • Strong testing and documentation skills
  • Collaborative mindset, agile experience (Scrum)
