Job Title: Cisco WebEx / Collaboration Engineer – Meeting Technology Location: London Job Type: Contract – Long-term / multi-year contract Salary /Day Rate: £264 per day Working setup: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite / 2 days remote Industry Sector: Financial Services / Technology Candidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom Introduction: We are seeking a Cisco WebEx / Collaboration Engineer to join a Meeting Technology team supporting enterprise Voice, Video and Web Collaboration infrastructure.
The role will contribute to the analysis, design, implementation and continuous improvement of infrastructure supporting the Meeting Technology portfolio. You will work across Cisco Cloud Collaboration technologies, WebEx, Voice and Video platforms, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, highly available and aligned with enterprise technology standards. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone with experience supporting Cisco WebEx, VoIP, video conferencing and collaboration technologies in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation, deployment and ongoing operation of Cisco Cloud Collaboration technologies . Provide technical support across Voice, Video and WebEx platforms. Participate in Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management activities. Design and document technical solutions, project specifications and infrastructure requirements. Develop and drive proofs of concept (PoCs) to evaluate new technologies and capabilities. Manage and coordinate technical escalations with vendors and third-party support organisations.
Provide technical input into the creation, maintenance and implementation of technology standards and documentation. Support end-to-end infrastructure solutions covering integration, installation, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance . Work on prioritised features and technical deliverables within ongoing Agile sprints. Analyse and resolve moderately to highly complex service and infrastructure problems.
Interpret and troubleshoot VoIP, Video and WebEx topologies . Support the ongoing improvement of the Meeting Technology infrastructure platform in terms of robustness, scalability, availability and efficiency. Ensure infrastructure solutions comply with enterprise technology standards and architectural requirements.
Required
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Strong professional experience supporting Voice, Video and Cisco WebEx technologies . Hands-on experience with Cisco Cloud Collaboration technologies and platforms. Experience with Cisco WebEx / WebEx App , including enterprise collaboration environments. Knowledge of WebEx Control Hub administration . Experience with Cisco TelePresence / Video Conferencing technologies. Knowledge of Cisco Room Series, RoomOS 11 and Desk Pro devices.
Experience with Cloud Calling and enterprise voice technologies. Understanding of VoIP protocols , including SIP, MGCP and SCCP . Experience with Hybrid Calendar and collaboration integrations. Knowledge of Jabber . Ability to understand and troubleshoot end-to-end Voice, Video and WebEx architectures/topologies . Experience with infrastructure implementation, deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working within Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.

Skills and Experience Experience with Microsoft Teams . Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and Outlook integrations. Experience with scripting and automation . Experience working with enterprise-scale collaboration or unified communications environments. Experience managing vendor and third-party technical escalations. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Experience developing Proof of Concepts and evaluating new collaboration technologies.
