We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham that is seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality Read Write Inc (RWI) sessions across EYFS and KS1
  • Support pupils’ progress in phonics, reading, and writing
  • Work closely with class teachers and the literacy lead to maintain high standards
  • Lead small groups and provide targeted interventions
  • Contribute positively to a nurturing and inclusive school environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds HLTA status (or equivalent experience)
  • Has hands-on experience with Read Write Inc (RWI)
  • Experience working within a UK primary school setting
  • Confident, proactive, and passionate about pupil progress
