Talent Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Rochdale to recruit a confident and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from February.

This is a rewarding and varied role, working as a level 3 teaching assistant across all year groups, providing both academic and pastoral support to pupils. The position will also involve occasional class cover in Early Years, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to broaden their classroom experience.

The Role:

* Working across all key stages as a Learning Mentor, supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development

* Delivering targeted interventions and small-group support

* Providing pastoral care and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning

* Supporting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery

* Covering Early Years classes on occasion, when required

* Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

* Have experience working within a primary school setting

* Be confident supporting pupils across a range of age groups

* Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills

* Be flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting children’s progress
