Press Maintenance Technician NVQ Level 3 iqualification in either Mechanical or Electrical needed as a minimum A Global Manufacturing company are looking for Press Maintenance Technicians to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to technical issues affecting production and maintaining mechanical & electrical machinery encompassing blanking, progressive and transfer presses. Earlies, lates and night shift rotating The Role and Responsibilities * PPM to reduce machine downtime. * Maintenance on Hydraulic Power Presses * Equipment setting to meet weekly production requirements. * Servicing, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical & electrical equipment & services in accordance with current regulations. * Maintaining and interrogating PLC systems and Drive systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Fanuc and reliance currently used on site) * Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance and provide feedback to develop systems & procedures. Knowledge and Experience * Experience in a Heavy Maintenance role within a busy manufacturing environment * Press Maintenance experience is essential * Work within 5S methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard. * HNC/NVQ Level 3 Qualification in a mechanical or Electrical engineering discipline is essential Shifts rotating shift system – Earlies, lates and nights OR 3 x 12 hour days Sat/Sun/Mon OR Fri/Sat /Sun Excellent Benefits Overtime available at enhanced rate
