This role is ideally suited to a teacher with some classroom experience and is not recommended for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

About the Role:

  • Teach across multiple year groups, following pre-prepared lesson plans
  • Maintain a calm, structured classroom environment and ensure high expectations are upheld
  • Provide continuity of learning while regular class teachers are on PPA
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth handovers and consistency in approach

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
  • Experience teaching across KS1 and/or KS2
  • Confident delivering a range of subjects to mixed age groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and flexible approach
  • Not ideally suited to ECTs due to the range of year groups and adaptability required
