Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are currently recruiting dedicated and resilient teachers to work across a variety of specialist schools and alternative provisions throughout the Manchester area.

We have a range of opportunities available including day-to-day supply, long-term temporary placements and temporary roles with the potential to become permanent.

We welcome applications from both Qualified Teachers (QTS) and unqualified teachers who have proven experience working with SEMH pupils in schools or specialist settings.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons while creating a positive, structured learning environment.

You will support students with a range of additional needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential through patience, consistency and positive behaviour management.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who

  • Hold QTS or have significant teaching experience with SEMH students.
  • Have experience working within SEMH schools, PRUs, alternative provisions or specialist settings.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
  • Have strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
  • Are adaptable, resilient and committed to supporting vulnerable young people.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
