About the Role
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and covering classes across various year groups
- Supporting teachers by easing workload pressures, allowing more time for lesson planning and marking
- Assisting with lesson planning and evaluating pupil progress
- Providing targeted support to pupils, particularly in key subjects such as literacy, reading and maths
- Working closely with class teachers to ensure all lessons are engaging, effective and inclusive
- Handling relevant paperwork and contributing to assessments
- Communicating positively with parents about pupil progress when required
- Acting as a strong role model, encouraging positive behaviour and a love of learning
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as a HLTA in a primary school setting
- Confidence delivering lessons across all primary year groups
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
