Talent Partners are recruiting a Business Development Manager (BDM) role on an exclusive basis for a fast-growing healthcare and diagnostics business operating within the respiratory and sleep therapy sectors. With significant growth achieved in recent years, the company is now looking to expand further, and are looking to identify a results-oriented Business Development Manager who can open doors, build high-level relationships, and secure large service contracts within the NHS and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across London and the wider South/Midlands region.
  • Engage with NHS Trusts, Sleep Centres, and other key stakeholders to introduce and promote service offerings.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities including framework agreements and tender-driven contracts.
  • Drive the full business development cycle, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Represent the business at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal commercial and clinical teams to ensure customer needs are understood and delivered upon.
  • Support data and information gathering to upload into procurement portals and tender systems.

The ideal candidate

  • A hunter mindset, confident opening new doors and initiating conversations at senior stakeholder level.
  • Proven track record of selling into the NHS or related healthcare providers.
  • Strong network within diagnostics, respiratory, or sleep therapy sectors.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • 5+ years' experience in a field-based commercial or business development role.
  • A self-starter with the confidence and motivation to work independently and travel regularly.
