We are expanding our specialist sales organisation to accelerate growth of the IDVerse portfolio across Asia and help customers combat the next generation of digital identity fraud.
About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director to lead market expansion and revenue growth for IDVerse across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Japan.
This strategic role will build pipeline, win new customers, develop high-value partnerships and increase adoption across priority industries.
The successful candidate will combine strong new-business, partner-development and strategic sales capabilities with experience in enterprise software, Saa S, identity, fraud, compliance, cybersecurity or Reg Tech.
Working across regional sales, solutions consulting, marketing and product teams, you will shape market strategy and deliver measurable commercial impact.
Responsibilities
- Own and exceed annual bookings, revenue and pipeline targets for the IDVerse portfolio.
- Develop and execute a regional growth plan focused on new logos, partner-led revenue and market expansion.
- Build a robust pipeline through direct prospecting, customer engagement, referrals, events and partner channels.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from discovery and solution positioning through negotiation and contract execution.
- Recruit, enable and grow strategic partners, resellers, systems integrators and alliances.
- Develop executive relationships across priority sectors and position IDVerse within digital onboarding, identity, fraud and trust programmes.
- Drive competitive replacement and cross-sell opportunities across the Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions customer base.
- Provide market intelligence and customer insight to Product and Marketing; maintain accurate Salesforce forecasting.
- Represent Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions at customer engagements, industry events and thought-leadership activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial experience.
- 8+ years of enterprise technology or software sales experience, with a strong record of exceeding new business targets.
- Experience selling identity verification, fraud prevention, digital onboarding, authentication, compliance, cybersecurity, Reg Tech, Fin Tech or Saa S solutions.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and engage senior decision-makers.
- Knowledge of digital identity, KYC, AML, fraud prevention, onboarding or customer authentication ecosystems.
- Experience across Asian markets, ideally Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Japan.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, territory planning and CRM skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international business with support based locally and overseas

- Established network across financial institutions, fintechs, payments, digital platforms or regulated industries.
- Experience developing indirect channels and partner ecosystems.
- Understanding of regional identity, privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Experience positioning differentiated value against leading identity verification providers.
