We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 driver to work for a family run business based in Epping. The ideal Class 1 candidate must be flexible and hard working. Manual handling is involved so ideally candidates need to be physically fit. Good knowledge of North London is desirable.
Your typical day will be as follows (pending on operational requirements):
- Conduct vehicle checks before you start your round
- Report any issues to management
- Drive HGV Class 1
- Carry out multidrop deliveries, generally 6-12 drops covering all of Essex and North London area
- Report any issues with the HGV Class 1 and complete all necessary paperwork
Minimum 8 hours per day.
Job Spec:
- Pay - £17.50 (inclusive of Holiday)
- Start - ASAP
- Hours - Monday to Friday 08.30 till job finish, 8 hrs minimum pay
- Weekly Pay
Essential requirements:
- You must have a flexible approach and good communication skills
- Must have a valid UK Licence, CPC card and Tacho card
- Must have safety boots and Hi-viz
- Minimum 2 years HGV 1 experience
- Proof of eligibility and National insurance number
- No more than 6 points
