Legal Administrator Private Client (Whitley Bay Office Based)

Salary: 2 per year (DOE Living Wage aligned)

Location: Whitley Bay commutable from Tynemouth, North Shields, Cullercoats, Monkseaton, Shiremoor

Contract: Full-time Permanent

The Role

We are seeking a Legal Administrator to join our busy Private Client department. You will be supporting solicitors with Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). This is an administrative support role not a training contract pathway or fee-earning position. It is suited to someone who enjoys admin work and wants to build a long-term career in a support function.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative support across Wills, Probate and LPA matters.
  • Manage and organise case files.
  • Draft standard correspondence and assist with forms/applications.
  • Liaise with clients in a professional and sensitive manner.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails and post.
  • General team and office support.

About You

  • Previous office/administration experience essential in the legal sector.
  • Familiarity with Wills & Probate processes is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and client care skills.
  • IT literate, confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable in a support role and not seeking progression to a solicitor position.
