Our esteemed client, a prestigious private legal firm located in Leeds vibrant center, is on the lookout for a seasoned personal injury fee earner to join their team. The perfect applicant will have a fervent dedication to their craft, a steadfast commitment to delivering outstanding service, and a relentless drive to secure the most favorable results for their clients. This position involves the oversight of a diverse array of personal injury cases, including RTA/EL/PL files, spanning pre-litigation, active litigation, and intricate matters.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage a caseload of Fast Track claims (Multi Track experience desirable but not essential)
- Handle general call queries and participate in team communications (Claimant and Third Party)
- Instruct medical experts and review medical evidence
- Review Claimants losses and vehicle-related losses
- Assess liability and prospects of each case
- Draft witness statements on behalf of the Claimant
- Attend conferences with Counsel
About You:
- At least 2 years' experience handling a caseload of RTA Fast Track claims
- At least 2 years' experience handling litigated claims
- A dedicated and personable individual with a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of the MOJ Portal or OIC is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your workload
- Capable of working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and settle files
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Good people skills for teamwork and building relationships with co-workers and clients
- Good written and spoken communication skills
