Responsibilities:
- Claim Assessment:
- Evaluate credit hire claims for validity and potential liability.
- Gather relevant evidence, including accident details and hire agreements.
- Communication:
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties.
- Negotiate early settlements and liability agreements.
- Document Preparation:
- Draft demand letters, pre-action protocols, and settlement proposals.
- Maintain accurate records and organize case files.
- Cost Management:
- Monitor claim costs during the pre-litigation phase.
- Collaborate with solicitors on cost-effective strategies.
- Legal Research:
- Stay informed about credit hire regulations and case law.
- Assist solicitors in building strong cases.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in credit hire claims or motor pre litigation.
- Skills: Legal knowledge, attention to detail, negotiation.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
